THE CENTENNIAL CLUB NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT
"The Centennial Club” is a premier fundraising event sponsored by The Patriot Golf Club on behalf of the Tulsa VFW. Your ticket purchase makes you a yearly member of the "Centennial Club” which includes a list of benefits, outlined here. In addition to these benefits, the evening will include the pageantry of military vehicles, a display of uniforms from World War I to the present, plus the sounds of the Tulsa Pipes and Drums and the German American Society Band.
The event directly supports your Tulsa VFW. One mission of the Tulsa VFW is to assist all Veterans successfully file claims with the Veterans Administration, to obtain the benefits they have earned through their dedicated service to our great Nation. The Tulsa VFW assisted 275 Veterans in 2017 and 244 Veterans in 2018. With the average claim amount of $14,000, we helped the Tulsa area economy garner $3.8M and $3.4M respectively. Additionally, the Tulsa VFW:
--Assists disabled and needy war veterans, members of the United States Armed Forces and their dependents, and the widows and orphans of deceased veterans
--Conducts programs that perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and members of the United States Armed Forces and comforts their survivors
--Conducts programs of religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes
--Sponsors and participates in activities of a patriotic nature
--Promotes the social welfare of the community
The Tulsa VFW does NOT receive funding from the Department of Defense or the Veterans Administration. We are a 501 (c) non-profit organization that relies on donations and gifts from the community. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and needed so we can continue to assist Veterans. Please consider being a part of this special evening being held in Founders’ Hall at the Patriot Golf Club.
